CV Contents Checklist

 

Full Name.

 

Full Postal address.

 

Telephone numbers with IDD/STD codes (stating whether it is a direct line or switchboard number).

 

Mobile/Cell phone numbers with IDD code.

 

Email address.

 

Personal details, i.e. date of birth, marital status, date of birth, driving license etc.

 

List all education from secondary school onwards. Start in reverse order, i.e. with college or university, then secondary school.

 

Name schools, colleges and/or universities with the location (town/City/Country is sufficient).

 

List of qualifications.

 

List specialist training courses attended.

 

Languages (indicate how well you can speak or write them).

 

PC/Computer skills (stating skill level).

 

Highlight other skills relevant to the Job (overall experience and skills).

 

List all employers to date, with the most recent jobs first, stating the start and finish dates, job title, company name, industry, projects worked on and actual responsibilities undertaken, achievements and results for each job in bullet points.

 

State hobbies and interests that emphasise skills useful to the job (e.g. sports indicate health and fitness; position in an association or society displays leadership qualities or team work and organization skills).
